Using RingCentral App Connect? Compare the setup you need.
Ringline writes native HighLevel call records and outcome tags for mapped RingCentral numbers. App Connect combines a dialer with CRM logging options. Compare the record format, automation triggers, and setup your team needs before changing either one.
App Connect details checked against RingCentral's official documentation on October 2, 2026. Features depend on the connector and configuration. Outcome Lab is not affiliated with RingCentral or Loyally.
Side by side
Ringline's call logging and App Connect's logging can overlap. App Connect also provides a dialer.

If you want to keep App Connect for dialing
Verify the combination on a test number before changing your team's logging or automations.
Check which features you need
App Connect can handle dialing and logging. Ringline handles call records and outcome tags. Keep the dialing or messaging features your team uses while you evaluate which logger should own each mapped number.
Check overlapping logging
During a controlled test, inspect the contact timeline and workflow history for duplicates. If you keep App Connect as a dialer, confirm both its client-side and server-side logging settings with your administrator or connector provider before disabling overlap.
Verify the workflows before switching
For Ringline, use Contact Tag → Tag added on the matching ringline-* tag. Test answered, missed, and voicemail calls and confirm each intended automation runs once before relying on the new setup.
Questions, answered
Which workflow trigger should I use with Ringline?
Use Contact Tag → Tag added with ringline-missed-call, ringline-answered-call, or ringline-voicemail. Ringline applies the outcome after the call is finalized and removes the tag about a minute later so a later call can trigger the workflow again. Do not rely on HighLevel's built-in Call Status trigger for Ringline records.
Does Ringline replace my RingCentral apps?
No. Your team keeps the RingCentral desktop, mobile and desk phones exactly as they are. Ringline never places, answers or transfers a call, and never changes anything in your RingCentral configuration beyond its own event subscription.
Do you store our recordings?
Ringline stores recording identifiers and a signed, expiring playback link, not an audio archive. Playback streams the media from RingCentral. Availability depends on the recording remaining in RingCentral and the connection staying authorized.
We have a lot of locations.
Map each RingCentral number to its HighLevel location. Ringline currently supports up to two connected RingCentral accounts per agency; that is separate from your plan's HighLevel location limit. Use individual client connect links and map each connection separately. Review plan and connection terms in the marketplace before installing.
Will you set it up with us?
Yes, free on every plan. Email [email protected] with a time that suits you and we'll connect RingCentral, map your numbers and rewire your workflows together on a short call.
Every RingCentral call, as a real call record.
